TCPA (47 U.S.C. § 227 + 47 C.F.R. § 64.1200) governs SMS and outbound calling. Per-text damages are $500 to $1,500. Real estate brokerages face exposure on SMS first. ReBillion's product is designed TCPA-clean on the messaging channel; voice is not a current capability.
Consent capture
Prior express written consent captured before the first SMS. Compliant double-opt-in flow. Consent state stored on the contact record. Auditable.
STOP routing
STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, END routes immediately to opt-out across the SMS provider and the deal record. STOP events logged. STOP propagates to every SMS thread on the contact.
Identification
Every SMS identifies your firm clearly per FCC requirements. Outbound emails and messages carry the firm-of-record name and deal context.
Quiet hours
FCC quiet-hours window (before 8 a.m. and after 9 p.m. recipient local time) enforced automatically. Holiday-aware where applicable.
Recording consent (two-party states)
In CA, FL, MA, MD, MT, NH, PA, WA, IL, CT, two-party-consent rules require disclosure before any recorded interaction. ReBillion does not currently place AI-generated voice calls; if and when that capability ships, the most conservative state's rule is the default.
Audit log
Every send, every STOP, every TCPA-relevant event captured with timestamp, parties, content, disposition. Exportable for state audit or legal discovery.
What we don't do
We don't send marketing SMS without explicit transactional context. We don't cold-call consumers. Operational messaging is B2B-only by policy (lender, title, HOA, utility).
